2-Dimensional Art

For close to three decades the American Jewish University Whizin Center for Continuing Education has offered a wide array of fine art classes to the greater Los Angeles community. From beginning to advanced levels, students are encouraged to find their potential through the combination of imagination, fundamental and essential techniques and hands on experience. The Whizin Center’s nationally and internationally exhibited faculty brings their expertise and love of art form to a diverse student body. The Fine Arts department offers an assortment of courses such as Stone Sculpture, Ceramics, a variety of two-dimensional art classes such as Watercolor, and Painting and Drawing, and Jewish Papercutting, Beginning Mosaics, and Digital Photography. As a culmination to our year-long program, the Whizin Center has proudly exhibited art work created by its students at the “Imagine: A Visual Arts Exhibit” for the enjoyment of the community.
