By stretching and balancing while concentrating and visualizing, one can gain greater flexibility, strength, tone, control, poise and improved overall health and peace of mind. A variety of postures and relaxation techniques are taught. Yoga reduces stress, tension, back problems and headaches. People practicing yoga become revitalized and rejuvenated. Students should not eat before class and should wear comfortable clothing.
